We believe in clarity at Tree Central. Here's what you need to know about our quote and how we work together: Quote Validity Our quote is valid for 30 days from the issue date. After 30 days, costs may change due to site conditions or other factors. What's Included The quote covers only the work listed. Anything extra will be treated as a variation and may cost more. Hidden issues (like underground obstacles or tree decay) can also affect pricing. Pricing & Extras Prices are in NZD, excluding GST unless stated. Waste transfer station fees, dump fees, and materials are not included unless specifically mentioned. Extra charges may apply for additional labour, machinery, or difficult access. Access & Site Safety Safe and clear access must be provided. Delays caused by obstacles, pets, or vehicles may incur extra charges. We follow all New Zealand health and safety rules. Permissions & Consents You are responsible for council or neighbour permissions if required. We are not liable for any breaches unless agreed in writing. Changes & Variations Any changes to the quote must be agreed by both parties. Variations are charged at an agreed rate or our standard hourly rate. Payment Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed. Deposits may be required for larger jobs. Cancellations & Delays Please give reasonable notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations may incur fees. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, equipment, or other unforeseen issues. Liability & Damage We take care, but minor ground or garden disturbance may happen. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, hidden problems, or undisclosed items. Liability is limited to the value of the work done. Timber & Mulch Unless stated, timber, mulch, and debris are removed from site. If you want them left, placement is at our discretion. Acceptance Accepting the quote (in writing, verbally, or by instructing us to start) means you agree to these terms. Simple. Clear. Fair. That's how we do it at Tree Central.
